Karakoy Jazz Nights

A club on the water runs fourteen nights of jazz every autumn and had been announcing them with fourteen unrelated flyers. I gave the season one system instead: a fixed grid, a fixed pair of inks, and one drawn form per night that has to survive being pasted over.

Everything was screenprinted in the studio on cheap newsprint, because the posters live outdoors for eleven days and then they are gone. The black goes down first and the fluorescent second, which is the wrong order for durability and the right order for how the yellow sits on the black.

The club prints the same fourteen forms as a folded programme, so a visitor who takes one home has the whole season in their pocket.
