Every paper merchant hands out a fan of blank swatches, which tells a designer nothing about what happens when ink lands on them. This one prints the same test on all forty-two stocks.
Each card carries a density wedge, a fine-line block, a solid and a halftone, so you can hold two stocks side by side and see the difference in a second. The cards are ordered by how much ink they drink, not alphabetically.
It is the only thing I have designed that people steal from each other s studios.
