A small museum of printing history publishes a yearbook nobody could read: eleven contributors, four languages of caption and no grid. I rebuilt it as one book with two columns, one text face and a caption rail that never moves.
The colour is used as a wayfinder, not a decoration - each of the six sections gets a solid fluorescent page edge, so the book tells you where you are when it is shut.
It was printed on the museum s own press, which meant designing to a press that can only hold two colours at once, and being glad about it.
